Regardless of your political disposition, everyone should read this book. It is NOT about global warming, it is about the current state of our democracy, and what we can do to improve it. Highly recommended!

These are amazing headphones for their price. To my knowledge their wires hold up for at least a year, but at almost exactly a year the sound stops out of the right earpiece. This is a big problem. Sure they replace it for free, but its a 1 month process from sending it back to recieving the new

Air mesh upper with synthetic overlay materials, Internal Support Saddle. Heel HydroFlow?? ST-XL and forefoot Hydroflow?? provides one of the best cushioning systems in footwear. Full-length S-257™ midsole offers excellent energy return and cushioning on every stride. Extended Progressive Diagonal Rollbar (PDRB). High-density carbon rubber HPR™ Plus increases traction and outsole durability.
When it comes to pronation control, the Addiction 7 is hard to resist. Previously considered the pinnacle of smooth, it now delivers an even smoother ride for runners with low or flat arches while maintaining the control, stability, and cushioning known and loved by severe overpronators. Our Progressive Diagonal Rollbar (PDRB??) controls the rate and degree of pronation by guiding the foot into a more efficient stride, while resilient HydroFlow?? units in the forefoot and rearfoot absorb shock and cushion the foot. No wonder this shoe is habit-forming.

Comfortable

I love this shoe! I was fitted for this shoe at a running store in North Carolina. The store owner opened this store after retiring from a career in sports medicine and he recommended this brand. That was back in 1996. I now live in CT and I have to order this shoe on line. The Brooks addiction shoe provides comfort and heel stability. It also has great cushioning. I am a nurse who works 12 hour shifts and this shoe has been the only shoe that has not disappointed me after being on my feet all day. I always keep at least two pair, one for work and another for exercising.

This is my 3rd pair of Brooks running shoes. I'm not a runner, just someone who likes comfortable "tennis" shoes. I do walk and go to the gym and am a fairly active stay at home mom, and these shoes are comfortable for all of the above activities. I have wide feet and am a bit on the "chubby" side, and these shoes feel great. I've tried New Balances and Sketchers and Nikes, and these are by far the best. They are expensive, but its worth it to feel comfotable while you are running about.

Incredible shoe for walking as well!

Although the Brooks Addiction 7 shoe is made for running, I have found them to be extremely comfortable for long distance walking. I had a bunionectomy 18 years ago, and I wear orthotics on a regular basis. It is extremely important to me to have a good fitting shoe that will keep my feet feeling good and to avoid future foot problems. I am very picky with shoes and make sure that the shoes I wear will work for me for long distance walking. I have completed 3 full marathons, and the Brooks Addiction 7's have been with me every step of the way. Plus, I have wide feet, so making sure the front part of the shoe is wide enough is a major factor. Brooks makes their shoes in plenty of widths to choose from. I highly recommend this shoe (much better than New Balance 842/843 series which I used to wear, but now I only wear Brooks Addiction 7s).

Brooks Women's Addiction 7 Running Shoe

I bought my first pair last year after a 3 month foot and ankle injury hadn't resolved itself. These shoes made a huge difference in my getting back to walking/running on the treadmill. I also buy the thick full-length green pads (forget the brand) and throw away the inserts that come with this shoe. I bought my 2nd pair recently because I felt there was no point in trying to find something better when these work perfectly for me. I also need support in the arch because I'm on my feet all day (teaching), and these w/the combo addition of the green pad do the trick.
